How to cancel your VUMI policy

Information on how to cancel your policy with the insurance provider VUMI

You will need your policy number to complete the process. For a policy cancellation, VUMI has recently been asking our clients for a statement from the client of their intention to cancel, and a reason why. If you send this to Jason, he can start the process for you.

If we need any other information to process your policy cancellation, we will inform you.

Do note that VUMI charges a **penalty for cancellation **after the free look period, please review your up to date certificate of coverage to view contract details as this information can change. You can find this in your welcome kit, or renewal kit.

Here is an example of the free-look clause from a 2021 Expat VIP Gold conditions of coverage document. This information is found in section 1.1. If you cannot find your conditions of coverage, please contact us to resend it to you.
