What do I need to transfer my policy?

In order to transfer your Cigna policy you will need two things: your policy number and the new broker's agent code. Feel free to reach out to claims@expatinsurance.com to acquire any information you may be missing.

Ensure all your claims and issues are resolved with your prior broker. We will not accept clients with open claims or disputes. Also note you can only transfer agents at the time of your annual renewal.

Once you have the information you need you can email cgi@cigna.com requesting the broker transfer. You should also CC claims@expatinsurance.comso that we can monitor the request and make sure you are being taken care of. The home office sometimes may take a little while for the update, so it's best to request a broker change as early as possible before renewal.

Log in to your Cigna portal to confirm the broker has been updated and make your renewal payment to complete the process.
